Blast furnace gas flare ignition

In November 2023, Xi'an Jiahua Thermal Engineering Co., Ltd. was in the process of installing and commissioning a blast furnace gas ignition and release system at a steel plant in Benxi, Liaoning.

The single-pipe blast furnace gas release ignition device can achieve automatic ignition. Upon receiving an ignition signal, it ignites and is controlled by the system. The ignition control cabinet outputs a successful ignition signal to the remote control. In the event of an extinguishment signal or detection of a backfire signal, the ignition system can perform nitrogen purging to prevent backfire, meeting effective and safe operational requirements. However, if ignition fails, extinguishment occurs, or the device itself malfunctions, a fault signal is issued, and safe and proper handling is carried out.
