Molecular sieve

Function of molecular sieves: Selective adsorption based on the size and shape of molecules. They exhibit selective adsorption properties for small polar molecules and unsaturated molecules. The greater the polarity and the higher the degree of unsaturation, the stronger the selective adsorption. Main products include 3A, 4A, 5A, 5A dewaxing, 10X, and 13X molecular sieves.

  Uses of 3A molecular sieve: Drying of various liquids (such as ethanol); drying of air; drying of refrigerants; drying of natural gas and methane gas; drying of unsaturated hydrocarbons and cracked gas, ethylene, acetylene, propylene, butadiene.
   Uses of 4A molecular sieve: Deep drying of gases and liquids such as air, natural gas, alkanes, and refrigerants; production and purification of argon; static drying of pharmaceutical packaging, electronic components, and perishable substances; used as a dehydrating agent in paints, fuels, and coatings.
   Uses of 5A molecular sieve: Pressure swing adsorption; dehydration and carbon dioxide removal from air purification.
   Uses of 13X molecular sieve: Gas purification in air separation units, removing water and carbon dioxide; drying and desulfurization of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and liquid hydrocarbons; deep drying of general gases.
