1. Certification Introduction

Egypt COI stands for Certificate of Inspection, which refers to conformity verification. According to Decree No. 991/2015, products within the controlled list must obtain a Conformity Inspection Certificate (COI) issued by a third-party inspection agency authorized by the Egyptian government before they can enter the Egyptian market for sale.

(17) Transformers, static converters (e.g., rectifiers), and inductors

(19) Household low-voltage regulators or controllers

(20) Handheld valves for liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders

3. Certification Process

(1) Submit an application;

(2) Document review;

(3) Arrange inspection;

(4) Evaluation of the inspection report;

(5) Issue the COI certificate.

4. Certification Documents

(1) Application form;

(2) Provide proforma invoice and final invoice;

(3) Product test reports (each product must have technical documents, test reports, and instructions);

(4) Packing list, product photos, packaging photos;

(5) Declaration of Conformity.
