| Viscosity Standard Fluid ◆◆Brand: US Brookfield ◆◆Application: Brookfield Viscosity Standard Fluid provides convenience for calibrating your Brookfield laboratory viscometers and rheometers. ◆◆Brookfield Viscosity Standard Fluid Classification: ◆Silicone Oil Type Viscosity Standard Fluid Silicone oil standards are most commonly used for calibrating Brookfield viscometers and rheometers: 1) General-purpose silicone oil standard fluid; 2) High-temperature silicone oil standard fluid; 3) Customized silicone oil standard fluid according to customer needs. ◆Oil-based Viscosity Standard Fluid: Brookfield's oil-based standard fluids include mineral oil and polybutene, both of which are hydrocarbons. 1) CAP viscometer-specific oil standard fluid; 2) KU-2 viscometer-specific oil standard fluid; 3) General-purpose oil standard fluid; 4) R/S rheometer-specific standard oil. ◆Remarks: 1) Silicone oil is typically used for general models, while oil-based standard fluids are suitable for applications with shear rates greater than 500 S⁻¹ or when the viscosity measured by cone/plate viscometers exceeds 5000 cP. It is recommended for use with CAP viscometers and KU-2 viscometers; 2) The accuracy of Brookfield Viscosity Standard Fluid is ±1% of the nominal value, and the calibration method complies with the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards. One or two standard fluids are generally sufficient to calibrate your instrument. Except for the CAP standard fluid, which is packaged in 150 mL (4 ounces), all other standard fluids are packaged in 1/2 liter (1 pint). Each standard fluid comes with a calibration certificate. Note: If you need to order other standard oils, please contact us. |
