Hot Melt Spray Dryer

The hot melt spray granulator supplied by Guangzhou Jincheng Scientific Instrument Co., Ltd. is a multifunctional one-step granulator for solid dispersions. It can be used to prepare various solid dispersions for taste masking, solubilization, sustained and controlled release, and targeted release using the melt freeze method, while also possessing the functions of a traditional spray dryer.

Principle:

The raw and auxiliary materials are fully mixed and melted in the hot melt extrusion section, conveyed by a twin-screw to a two-fluid pneumatic nozzle, and then atomized into droplets by compressed air. These droplets come into full contact with ultra-low temperature chilled air, instantly cooling and solidifying. Some condensed particles settle into the collection barrel at the bottom of the drying chamber with the airflow, while the exhaust gas undergoes gas-solid secondary separation through a dust removal device to collect the product.

Features:

1. Feeding system: Twin-screw hot melt extrusion for heating, melting, and conveying materials. The materials are heated evenly with short conveying time, ensuring continuous and stable operation.

2. Multi-form liquid spraying system: Nozzle atomization spraying and centrifugal atomization disc spraying, with the option to choose the spraying form according to customer needs.

3. Atomization heating system: To ensure the continuity of hot melt spraying, the atomizing gas or centrifugal atomization disc is independently heated and temperature-controlled to prevent material condensation at the nozzle or centrifugal screen, avoiding "nozzle clogging/pore blockage."

4. Online nozzle cleaning: The atomizing nozzle is equipped with a ejector pin design for regular cleaning, effectively preventing nozzle clogging.

5. Customization service: Options such as nitrogen protection circulation system and additional spray drying function can be selected based on user requirements.

6. Complies with GMP standards, features three-level password permissions, process parameters are automatically controlled by PLC, all data is stored online automatically, and can be exported via USB drive.
