Pilot-scale Organic Solvent Spray Dryer YC-019A

Guangzhou Jincheng Scientific Instrument Co., Ltd. supplies the pilot-scale organic solvent spray dryer YC-019A with a processing capacity of 5000 ml/hr. It combines the YC-019 spray dryer with a nitrogen circulation system. The closed nitrogen circulation system, integrated with organic solvents, enables the handling of flammable and toxic solvents, as well as drying oxidation-sensitive materials. Additionally, the low boiling point of organic solvents allows for low-temperature drying of heat-sensitive materials.

Control and Functionality

The simple design of the YC-019A pilot-scale organic solvent spray dryer makes all functions easy to select and adjust, quickly achieving spray drying conditions. With a clear touchscreen display, operators can control the following functions: inlet air temperature, airflow rate, peristaltic pump speed, and needle frequency.

Two-Fluid Spray Nozzle

Made of SUS316L stainless steel

The spray nozzle is a concentric type, ensuring no eccentricity during atomization that could cause spraying onto the bottle wall. The nozzle can be moved up and down after installation to optimize atomization position and improve spray drying效果. Standard with a 2.0 mm nozzle, other sizes are optional.

For safe drying of organic solvents, we combined the YC-019 spray dryer with a nitrogen circulation system. The YC-019A pilot-scale organic solvent spray dryer uses nitrogen or other inert gases as the gas source. The system has built-in oxygen monitoring; if the oxygen content exceeds the set safety value, the system will not start. If oxygen levels exceed the set value during operation, the system will automatically shut down to ensure safety. The system includes a built-in condensation recovery system for organic solvents, effectively recovering solvent vapors generated during material drying to ensure system safety.
