Coal Powder Distributor

The pulverized coal distributor produced by Jinglan Environmental Protection is equipment for the pulverized coal injection system of blast furnaces in ironmaking. It is mainly used in single-pipeline pulverized coal conveying systems to evenly distribute dried pulverized coal and airflow into multiple branch pipes, ensuring injection stability. Its structure is centered around a conical, disc, or bottle-shaped body, with branch pipes arranged at an elevation angle or horizontally, achieving uniform coal powder distribution through vortex effects.  Main Types Elevation Angle Type (YFPQ Model): Suitable for single-pipeline systems, with branch pipes distributed at an elevation angle; the installation height of the vertical section only requires 2-3 meters.

  Bottle Type (PFPQ Model): Made of wear-resistant alloy or ceramic materials, suitable for blast furnace pulverized coal injection systems. Disc Type (PSFPQ Model): Combines foreign technology to replace traditional bottle-type and ball-type distributors, featuring a conical分流 structure. 

1. Technical Parameters Medium Requirements: Only dried pulverized coal. Working Pressure: 1.6-2.5 MPa. Pipe Diameter: 15/20/25 mm. Number of Branch Pipes: 6-35 pipes. Elevation Angle Distribution: 90°/120°. Structural Design The pulverized coal distributor consists of a main pipe, body (conical/disc/bottle type), and branch pipes. Taking the elevation angle type as an example, the branch pipes are evenly distributed above the body at an elevation angle of 90° or 120°, connected to the coal conveying main pipe via flanges or threaded ports. The conical inner cavity design, combined with strong vortex effects, ensures that the total outlet area of each branch pipe is similar to the inlet channel, achieving uniform coal powder distribution.

 Advantages High Control Precision: The control precision of pulverized coal injection volume at each tuyere can reach ±3% of the injection volume. Low Wear and Long Service Life: The flow velocity of the fluid in the pulverized coal distributor is the same as that in the pipeline, resulting in low wear. Small Resistance Loss: The absence of a throat structure avoids throat clogging and the decline in distribution accuracy caused by uneven throat wear.  Applications Pulverized coal distributors are widely used in boiler systems in industries such as power, chemical, textile, and petroleum to evenly distribute pulverized coal passing through pipelines. In direct-firing pulverizing systems, this equipment can also solve the problem of uneven distribution caused by inertial segregation of pulverized coal airflow.
