Pulverized coal lance (coal injection lance)

Jinglan Environmental Protection produces pulverized coal lances (also known as coal powder lances), which are the core execution components of the blast furnace pulverized coal injection system. They achieve efficient combustion by atomizing coal powder and mixing it with high-temperature hot air. Their core technical features and applications are as follows:

I. Core Structure and Working Principle
Atomization Structure
The lance head is equipped with a spherical coal powder atomization disk. The coal powder airflow is dispersed by the atomization disk and ejected in an umbrella-shaped spray, forming a fine atomized flow that significantly improves mixing uniformity with 1500°C hot air, ensuring full combustion of coal powder.
The arc-swirl nozzle design optimizes the mixing ratio of coal powder and hot air, increasing combustion efficiency by approximately 15%-20%.

Safety Interlock Mechanism
When the coal injection lance is inserted into the blast furnace tuyere, the interlock ball valve automatically opens. When withdrawn, the ball valve steel ball instantly closes under furnace pressure (0.6MPa) and gravity, blocking reverse flow of high-temperature gas and preventing backfire accidents.
The quick-connect coupling design enables fast and sealed connection with the ball valve, improving operational efficiency.
