Electric Flange Butterfly Valve Product Overview
Electric flange butterfly valves are typically composed of an angular stroke electric actuator (0–90° partial rotation) and a butterfly valve mechanically connected and assembled after installation and debugging. The electric flange butterfly valve has a simple structure, compact size, and light weight, consisting of only a few components. When the valve is fully open, the thickness of the butterfly plate is the only resistance to the medium flowing through the valve body, resulting in a very low pressure drop across the valve, which provides excellent flow control characteristics. Electric flange butterfly valves are mainly available in two structural forms: triple eccentric and single eccentric, with three types of sealing: metal seal, PTFE seal, and rubber seal. The metal seal structure is mainly suitable for working conditions ≥300°C; the PTFE seal structure is suitable for working conditions ≤180°C; the rubber seal structure is suitable for working conditions ≤120°C. The angular stroke electric actuator used with the electric flange butterfly valve can directly receive 4–20mA DC or 1–5V DC control signals from computers or industrial instruments. It intelligently adjusts the step distance of the drive motor (PID adjustment) based on the deviation between the valve position feedback signal and the set value, achieving precise positioning of the valve or other devices paired with the actuator, while also outputting a 4–20mA DC position feedback signal. Currently, electric flange butterfly valves are widely used in petroleum, chemical, metallurgical, light industry, papermaking, power plants, refrigeration, and other industrial fields.
