Urban Flood Control Command and Monitoring System

In recent years, China has experienced frequent extreme weather events, making urban flood control an increasingly prominent issue, which has even resulted in significant casualties. Our company has undertaken specific practices in the construction of urban flood and rainwater monitoring systems, addressing needs such as rainfall measurement, waterlogging in low-lying areas, and road flooding. We have proposed a scientific and effective monitoring solution for urban flood control. Through the use of hydrological observation equipment, road and underpass monitoring devices, flow measurement instruments, remote rainfall monitoring systems, and central receiving and processing software, we provide robust technical support for urban flood prevention. Rainfall monitoring utilizes traditional tipping bucket rain gauges, combined with our independently developed hydrological information collection instruments, to enable real-time online monitoring of urban rainfall. For water level monitoring—road water level observation equipment employs advanced radar water level gauges, taking into account urban aesthetics and installation conditions. For monitoring water levels in low-lying areas such as underpasses, electronic water level rulers are primarily used. River water level monitoring mainly relies on float-type water level gauges. Flow monitoring equipment utilizes RESON's RG60 velocity radar sensor, which has been upgraded from traditional radar technology to include features such as average flow velocity calculation and angle correction, specifically designed for measuring surface water flow velocity. To date, our company has completed urban flood monitoring projects in cities including Jinan, Qingdao, Shanghai, Guilin, and Taicang.
