The GUL70 mining intrinsically safe radar level gauge is developed using FMCW radar technology. This product features comprehensive and reliable measurement algorithms, with multiple wave selection methods available for users to freely choose, facilitating reliable installation and measurement in complex environments. It exhibits excellent adaptability and anti-interference capabilities in high-dust and high-moisture environments. The device is primarily used for measuring bin levels, on-site display, and data uploading. It offers a rich set of interfaces, including 4-20mA current output, switch output, RS485 digital communication functionality, as well as high and low level setting and alarm output functions.
>Working Principle
The frequency-modulated continuous wave radar level gauge operates based on the FMCW principle, using a linear frequency-modulated high-frequency signal. The emission frequency of the radar level gauge's high-frequency signal increases linearly over a certain time interval (scanning frequency). Since the emission frequency changes with the signal propagation time and is proportional to the distance of the reflective object, the level height is determined by the difference between the current emission frequency and the received reflection frequency.
