Product Description:NIKONikoThe thermal element of the bimetallic steam trap is a bimetallic strip made by special process pressing two metals with different expansion rates together. The bimetallic strip expands when heated, causing bending due to different expansion rates. This characteristic is utilized to make the thermal element of the steam trap act as a switch. Bimetallic steam traps are divided into non-adjustable online (BK.SC17H and CS47) and adjustable online (adjustable bimetallic TB).
