Product Description:NIKONikoThe thermal element of the bimetallic steam trap is a bimetallic strip made of two metals with different expansion rates, bonded together through a special process. When heated, the bimetallic strip expands and bends due to the different expansion rates. This characteristic is utilized to make the thermal element of the steam trap act as a switch. Bimetallic steam traps are divided into non-adjustable types (BK.SC17H and CS47) and online adjustable types (adjustable bimetallic TB).
