Molten Iron Carbon-Silicon Analyzer Before Casting
I. Principle Overview
The LC-QCR3000 Molten Iron Carbon-Silicon Analyzer is a new generation of molten iron management equipment with higher measurement accuracy and more stable performance. The rapid thermal analysis technology for cast iron before furnace is based on the solidification temperature curve of the cast iron structure formation process as the measured object. Mathematical analysis of the solidification temperature curve yields characteristic points of the curve under different compositions. According to a pre-confirmed mathematical model, it calculates the carbon equivalent (CE), carbon content (C%), silicon content (Si%), and other indicators of molten iron. This is a concise, rapid, and accurate instrument used before the furnace in cast iron production. The thermal analyzer takes about 2 minutes for detection, completing the test within the waiting time of the molten iron. Then, based on the automatically calculated amounts of carburizer, ferrosilicon, and scrap steel to be added, the composition of the molten iron is adjusted to achieve the appropriate composition before pouring. The instrument uses Chinese voltage 220V 50Hz.

3. Silicon content (Si%): 0.5-3.5±0.10
If it exceeds the above range, the detection accuracy may become unstable, or detection may not be possible.
