Principle Overview:
The molten iron quality management analyzer testing equipment is a new generation product developed by our company through years of research and improvement, offering higher measurement accuracy and more stable performance. The thermal analysis technology for molten iron quality originates from the phase diagram theory in metallography. It has long been widely used in developed countries for the detection and control of molten iron in front of the furnace, serving as an indispensable testing method in advanced casting technology and playing a crucial role in the production of high-quality castings. The molten iron quality management analyzer uses the solidification temperature curve of the cast iron structure formation process as the measurement object. The built-in computer analyzes the solidification temperature curve to obtain characteristic points of the curve under different compositions. Based on these characteristic points, it calculates molten iron performance parameters such as carbon equivalent (CE%), carbon content (C%), silicon content (Si%), nodularity (SG%), and tensile strength (RM). The thermal analyzer detection time is approximately 90 seconds, completing the test within the waiting time of the molten iron. Then, based on the automatically calculated amounts of carburizer, ferrosilicon, and scrap steel to be added, the molten iron composition is adjusted to achieve the appropriate composition before pouring.

Software Functions
CE, C, Si Content Measurement: Can measure active CE, C, Si content for 10 target materials,推算 iron grade (HT);
Molten Iron Adjustment Calculation: Based on target composition range, molten iron weight, carburization yield rate, silicon yield rate, and measurement results, calculates the amount of carburizer, ferrosilicon, or scrap steel to be added to hit the target composition.
Nodularity Measurement: By measuring the eutectic degree and undercooling of the molten iron, and assuming sufficient active Mg content,推算 the nodularity of nodular iron.
Molten Iron Composition Management: Set carbon equivalent, carbon content, and silicon content ranges based on product grade. The instrument will display content in different colors:超 high in red, low in green. Users can also modify the content range themselves.
