I. Application Overview
Suitable for foundry production, it enables on-site rapid and accurate determination of the main chemical composition and mechanical properties of cast alloy melts. Widely used for on-site measurement of carbon equivalent (CEL), carbon content (C%), silicon content (Si%), pouring temperature (TM), liquidus temperature (TL), and solidus temperature (TS) in raw molten iron such as gray iron, malleable iron, ductile iron, and compacted graphite iron. Results are directly printed. It addresses the issue where conventional analytical instruments cannot meet the time requirements for rapid analysis before the furnace, thereby fulfilling the quality control needs of foundry production.
II. Main Features
1. The instrument is used for rapid analysis and quality control of molten iron composition before casting. It features anti-electromagnetic interference, dust-proof, and ultra-thin portable design, making it economical, practical, and easy to operate.
2. It operates through an improved evaluation method, automatically controlling key metallurgical parameters. It compensates for the inability of "spectroscopy" to accurately measure non-metallic elements (C, Si) and addresses the time constraints of conventional analytical instruments for rapid furnace analysis, meeting the quality control requirements of foundry production.
3. The instrument uses a high-brightness, large-size LED digital display, allowing easy reading of measurement data even in dim lighting conditions.
4. It automatically measures gray and white solidified cast iron, eliminating the need for manual operation. It can be expanded to connect external output devices for signals and measurement data (large remote displays, signal lights, computers, printers).
5. It uses U.S.-made Omega K-type thermocouple-specific compensated connectors to avoid signal fluctuations caused by connectors, ensuring test accuracy.
6. German-imported, highly flexible, high-temperature-resistant, low-error silicone rubber thermocouple extension compensation cables significantly extend the cable's service life and improve test accuracy.
7. It employs high-precision, low-drift thermocouple signal processing chips and PPM-level low-drift, high-stability thin-film resistors, improving test accuracy by orders of magnitude.
III. Main Technical Parameters
1. Application Function: Measures C%, Si%, CEL, △T, △TM, etc., for gray and white solidified cast iron; calculates tensile strength (RM), hardness (HB), quality coefficient (R/H), eutectic group number (MEG), and graphitization factor (K).
2. Measurement Range: C: 2.8–4.2; Si: 0.9–3.0; CEL: 3.2–4.8; Type K: 200°C–1370°C.
3. Measurement Accuracy: C: ±0.05%; Si: ±0.10%; CEL: ±0.10%.
4. Measurement Time: Less than 240 seconds.
5. Data Display: 4-digit LED display; character height 50mm; resolution 1°C.
6. Status Display: Green light "Ready," yellow light "Measuring," red light "Complete"; cyclic display.
7. Printing Function: Built-in printer can promptly print 15 parameters, including HB (hardness), RM (tensile strength), PEAK (peak temperature), TL (liquidus temperature), TS (solidus temperature), SC (eutectic degree), CEL (carbon equivalent), C% (carbon content), Si% (silicon content).
8. Power Requirements: Power supply 100–240V/AC (customizable for wider voltage ranges), 50/60Hz, power 15–35VA; ambient temperature 0–50°C.
