Application
The ZG type peripheral drive scraper is suitable for sludge scraping and scum skimming in radial flow (circular) sedimentation tanks with a diameter (φ > 15m) in water supply and drainage engineering, such as water treatment plants or sewage treatment plants. This product has passed provincial appraisal and is a priority recommended product by the National Science and Technology Commission, Ministry of Construction, and Machinery Department Technical Supervision Bureau. Structure and Working Principle The peripheral drive scraper mainly consists of a central rotating support, rotating truss, flow guide tube, sludge and scum scraping blades, centralized control device, drive mechanism, track, and traveling wheels. Raw water flows from the bottom of the tank through the upper part of the central pier and is distributed via the flow guide tube, then flows radially toward the peripheral collection channel. As the radial flow velocity decreases, suspended solids in the raw water separate and settle at the bottom of the tank. The rotating truss, with the central support as the pivot, rotates along the peripheral track under the action of the drive mechanism, driving the lower sludge scraping blades along an approximate logarithmic spiral trajectory to slowly rotate and collect sludge into the central sludge collection trough. The sludge is then discharged out of the tank by water pressure or pump. Simultaneously, surface scum is scraped into the scum discharge hopper by the scum scraping blades.

1. The tank edge height H is determined by the user. It is recommended to be 4.4m for primary sedimentation tanks and 4m for secondary sedimentation tanks. The tank bottom slope is 1/10. The data shown in this table are for semi-bridge type, standard models. Civil engineering conditions and dimensions are for reference only. 2. The full-bridge type peripheral drive scraper spans the entire tank diameter, with a set of drive mechanisms and symmetrical scraping blade devices on both sides of the truss. 3. Special specifications and reinforced types for industrial wastewater treatment in ore dressing, coal preparation, and tailings are designed according to specific requirements. |
