Water collector

A drift eliminator is a device used to remove the large number of fine water droplets carried in the exhaust of hot and humid air from cooling towers, preventing water mist pollution and icing in the surrounding environment, thereby conserving water and protecting the environment.
With the support of research and design departments under the Ministry of Chemical Industry, the Ministry of Metallurgy, and the Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power, our company has developed drift eliminators made from polyester fiberglass reinforced plastic and modified polyvinyl chloride for users to choose from. Among them, four types of drift eliminators—Wave 160-45, Wave 170-50, HC-130-50, and HU-50/270—were tested in simulated and industrial towers by institutions such as the Cooling Tower Research Institute of the Water Resources Science Academy, Henan Electric Power Design Institute, North China Electric Power Research Institute, Northwest Electric Power Design Institute, and Xi'an Thermal Engineering Research Institute. The test results show that these four types of drift eliminators feature high water collection efficiency and low ventilation resistance, achieving advanced levels comparable to similar domestic and international products.
Currently, these types of drift eliminators are widely used in mechanically ventilated and natural draft cooling towers across domestic thermal power plants, steel mills, petrochemical plants, and other industrial sectors. Practice has proven that these drift eliminators boast advanced blade design, significant effectiveness, reliable quality, ease of installation, and a long service life.
