Spherical Suspended Media, also known as Porous Rotating Spherical Suspended Media, is a new series product developed among various types of media used in domestic wastewater treatment and biofilm process technologies. It consists of a double-layer sphere: an outer mesh sphere and an inner rotating sphere.
Application:
Widely applicable for the treatment of domestic sewage, as well as industrial wastewater from petroleum and chemical industries, light industry and papermaking, food processing, brewing, sugar production, textiles, printing and dyeing, tannery, pharmaceuticals, and more.
Performance Features:
This media is injection-molded from polypropylene material, featuring rapid microbial biofilm attachment, easy biofilm shedding, resistance to acids and alkalis, aging resistance, unaffected by water flow, long service life, biodegradation resistance, minimal residual sludge, and easy installation.
Technical Parameters:
Brittleness temperature: -10°C, specific surface area: 380–800 m²/m³, porosity: greater than 99%, specific gravity: 0.93.
