▍ Working Principle

The working principle of the S-type force sensor is based on its structural deformation (bending or shearing). When an object acts on the top or bottom of the sensor, the S-shaped structure undergoes torsional or bending deformation. This deformation causes the resistance strain gauges attached to the elastomer to deform, thereby changing the resistance value. Through the corresponding measurement circuit, the resistance change is converted into an electrical signal (such as voltage or current), thus completing the process of converting external force into an electrical signal.
