▍ Working Principle

A pulley tension sensor is a type of sensor used to measure the tension of an object. Its core working principle is based on Hooke's Law, which states that the tension applied to an object is proportional to the strain it produces. When a belt or rope passes over the pulley, changes in the pulley’s diameter and rotation angle cause strain variation in the sensor chip, resulting in an electrical signal output. By measuring this electrical signal, the tension value applied to the object can be calculated.
