The Nova II is the most comprehensive and advanced handheld laser power/energy meter on the market. Simply plug in one of the Ophir sensors, and you have a complete measurement lab in your workspace. The Nova II comes with numerous built-in functions such as laser tuning, data logging, graphing, normalization, power or energy density units, attenuation scaling, and max/min limits.
The Nova II can also display power or energy using a high-resolution analog needle indicator.
It can be operated via battery or AC power through a charger. Its backlight allows the meter to be used in low-light conditions.
Built-in USB and RS232 interfaces, along with StarLab and StarCom PC software, enable online data processing or analysis of previously stored data; results are displayed graphically on a PC. To support PC interfacing, LabVIEW drivers and COM object interfaces are provided.
