Acer truncatum oil

Acer truncatum belongs to the Aceraceae family, genus Acer. It is a deciduous tree, 8–10 meters tall, with longitudinally fissured bark. The leaves are simple, opposite, with five main veins and palmately lobed. The petioles are 3–5 cm long. It produces terminal corymbose inflorescences with yellow-green flowers. The flowering period is in May, and the fruiting period is in September. The tree has an elegant form and beautiful leaf shape, with red young leaves that turn yellow or red in autumn, making it a famous species for autumn foliage viewing. It prefers partial shade, is cold-tolerant, moderately wind-resistant, but not tolerant of dry heat or intense sunlight.
