1. Cinnamon oil is a food additive permitted by the Chinese national food safety standard GB2760-2014.
FEMA usage limit recommendations: 1900 mg/kg in chewing gum; 290 mg/kg in meat products; 150 mg/kg in candy; 140 mg/kg in condiments; 73 mg/kg in baked goods; 11 mg/kg in frozen desserts; 3.0 mg/kg in soft drinks;
2. Used in formulating food flavors for baked goods such as bread, cakes, and pastries; candy flavors for products like candies, plums, cherries, and chocolates; beverage flavors for fruit-type drinks and alcoholic beverages; and as a flavor enhancer in meat cooking;
3. Used in formulating floral-type daily chemical fragrances for products such as toothpaste, mouthwash, soap, and incense;
4. Used in formulating tobacco flavors.
