I. Product Structure and Specifications
Material: Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic
Service Area: Installed in push-flow and fully mixed aeration tanks, each unit serves an area of 0.8-1.5 m².
Oxygenation Efficiency: At a water depth of 4m, oxygen transfer efficiency η = 8-9%, oxygenation capacity 0.3-0.41 (kg oxygen/hour per unit).

 II. Structure and Oxygenation Principle
1. Structure
1. Serrated air distribution head, similar in structure to Jinshan Type I. Its function is to cut and disperse air. Diameter D = 100 mm, height H = 120 mm, with 18 serrations.
2. Serrated dispersion hood, designed in an inverted umbrella shape. The central circle of the umbrella has 12 Φ12 aeration holes, which supplement air and further evenly distribute it across the entire dispersion hood, reducing energy consumption, evenly mixing water and air, and lowering the requirement for installation levelness. The dispersion hood diameter D = 600 mm, with 60 downward-tilted serrations around the perimeter to further cut air bubbles.
2. Oxygenation Principle
As mentioned above, the main factors affecting the oxygen transfer rate are: turbulence in the aerated water body, mixing intensity, bubble diameter, air volume, and partial pressure of oxygen in the liquid phase, etc.
The Φ600 dispersion aerator primarily achieves oxygenation through the following mechanisms:
1. Intense liquid mixing: Gas is delivered through pipes to the aerator, passes through a Φ25 inner hole and the serrated air distribution head for the first cutting of water and air. After being dispersed by the dispersion hood and further cut by the surrounding serrations, it drives the surrounding static water upward. The energy difference causes intense mixing of gas and liquid. Additionally, since the aerators are distributed at the bottom of the tank, the rising bubbles and descending water flow create counter-currents, further enhancing gas-liquid mixing and accelerating the renewal of the water film at the gas-liquid interface.
2. After two rounds of serrated cutting and gas-liquid mixing, the bubble diameter decreases, increasing the gas-liquid contact area and facilitating oxygen transfer.
3. Dispersion effect of the hood: The dispersion hood spreads the initially concentrated gas stream into a cylindrical shape, altering the air distribution pattern at the tank bottom, expanding the distribution area, and intensifying bubble diffusion and gas-liquid mixing at the bottom, which further promotes aeration and oxygenation.
The difference between the dispersion aerator and Jinshan Type I lies in the secondary cutting and dispersion of the airflow, which expands the air distribution range and changes the flow pattern inside the tank. Compared to fixed spiral aerators, the device height is significantly reduced, the air distribution range is larger, and the mixing effect at the tank bottom is stronger, resulting in superior oxygenation performance.
