Polyaluminum Ferric Chloride (PAFC)

Uses of Polymeric Aluminum Ferric Chloride:
1. It can be used for drinking water, industrial water, and the treatment of industrial wastewater and domestic sewage. The coagulation effect is not only reflected in the reduction of residual turbidity and color but also offers advantages such as rapid floc formation, high adsorption capacity, and good filtration and dewatering performance of sludge. Particularly in treating high turbidity water, as well as low-temperature and low-turbidity water, its performance is superior to that of alum, polymeric ferric sulfate, and ferric chloride.
2. Polymeric Aluminum Ferric Chloride has strong decolorization capability and high turbidity removal efficiency, with relatively low corrosiveness. It can meet purification requirements that polymeric ferric sulfate cannot achieve, especially for water with severe variations in low or high turbidity and challenging decolorization issues. In addition to its excellent water purification effect and low dosage, it also has the advantages of being less hygroscopic, and convenient for packaging, storage, and transportation. Furthermore, the product is non-corrosive and does not require additional equipment for anti-corrosion treatment, making it user-friendly.
3. Domestic sewage refers to wastewater generated in daily life by urban institutions, schools, and residents, including toilet waste, laundry and bathing water, kitchen drainage, as well as drainage from commercial establishments, hospitals, and recreational venues. Without treatment, it can significantly impact the environment and living conditions.
4. The primary method for treating domestic sewage is biochemical treatment, characterized by good biodegradability and high content of organic substances such as nitrogen and phosphorus.
5. The key equipment in domestic sewage treatment processes includes oxidation tanks, equalization tanks, and sedimentation tanks. Oxidation tanks are highly effective in reducing organic pollutants and nitrogen-phosphorus content; equalization tanks function to homogenize the quality and quantity of sewage; sedimentation tanks accelerate the separation of sludge and water.
6. For simple domestic sewage treatment, the selection of sludge dewatering agents is relatively straightforward. However, regional differences and variations in living and dietary habits must be considered.
