Conductivity Definition: Conductivity is the ability of a substance to transmit electric current. It is the reciprocal of resistance. The unit of measurement is Siemens/cm (S/cm). When the value is 10⁻⁶, it is expressed as μS/cm, and when it is 10⁻³, it is expressed as mS/cm.
