Installation Method for ICS1-50A-ICS3-65D Pilot Operated Proportional Regulating Valve

When installing the ICS servo main valve, ensure the valve stem is vertically upward (Figure 1). The ICS servo main valve must be installed according to the flow direction indicated by the arrow on the valve body. The end cover should face upward (Figure 2). The end cover can be rotated in four 90° directions on the valve body without affecting valve functionality. The ICS servo main valve is equipped with a manual operating lever for manual opening and closing. If an external pilot valve is used, it must be connected to the upper part of the main pipeline to prevent contaminants and oil from entering the pilot valve line. If ICS 1 is used as a solenoid valve on the liquid supply line for on/off control, external control pressure must not be introduced to avoid liquid hammer.
The design of the ICS servo main valve allows it to withstand high internal pressure. Nevertheless, the pipeline system design must avoid liquid traps to prevent damage from excessive pressure due to thermal expansion. The pipeline design should include effective protection against transient "liquid hammer" phenomena in the system.
