VKY(VE)-40.5 Series Epoxy-encapsulated Draw-out Vacuum Circuit Breaker

The VKY(VE)-40.5 series solid-sealed handcart type vacuum circuit breaker is suitable for three-phase AC power systems with a rated voltage of 40.5kV and a frequency of 50Hz. It is widely used in power plants, substations, petrochemical, metallurgy, manufacturing, airports, and residential areas for the protection and control of electrical facilities. It is particularly suitable for applications requiring frequent operation under rated current or multiple interruptions of short-circuit currents. Fully interchangeable with VD4 and VEP circuit breakers, it can be installed in removable or fixed air-insulated switchgear. The product complies with relevant standards such as GB1984 "AC High-Voltage Circuit Breakers," DL/T403 "Technical Conditions for Ordering 12~40.5kV Indoor AC High-Voltage Circuit Breakers," and IEC60694, IEC62271-100, among others.
The VKY(VE)-40.5 series solid-sealed handcart type vacuum circuit breaker adopts advanced APG technology, directly encapsulating the vacuum interrupter and the main conductive circuit within an epoxy resin pole to form a solid-sealed insulation method, representing the highest level of design and manufacturing in high-voltage vacuum circuit breakers worldwide. Note: When the vacuum interrupter solid-sealed pole of this model is replaced with a conventional insulation cylinder installation method, the model is designated as VKY(VE)-40.5Po.
