Overview

The UHZ series magnetic flap float level gauge uses a magnetic float as the measuring element and magnetic steel to drive the flap display, requiring no external power source. It is suitable for various environments, from low to high temperatures and vacuum to high pressure. It is an ideal liquid level measurement product for industrial sectors such as petroleum and chemical engineering.
The magnetic float level gauge can be equipped with upper and lower limit switch outputs to achieve remote alarm and limit control. With a transmitter, it enables remote indication, detection, and control of liquid levels. Depending on the installation position on the container, it offers side-mounted and top-mounted options. Based on the working medium, it provides two materials: stainless steel and ABS engineering plastic; ABS is particularly suitable for corrosive media such as acids and alkalis.
The UHZ series magnetic flap float level gauge has the following structural features:
1. Basic Type
The level gauge operates on the buoyancy principle: the float moves up and down with the liquid level in the measuring tube. The magnetic steel inside the float drives the red and white flaps to flip 180 degrees via magnetic coupling. When the liquid level rises, the flaps turn from white to red; when it falls, they turn from red to white, thus indicating the liquid level.
2. Upper and Lower Limit Switch Output
The magnetic float moves with the liquid level, causing the reed switch installed at the set position on the level gauge's vertical tube to actuate, enabling on-off control or alarm functions.
3. Electrical Remote Transmission
A transmitter is installed on the magnetic float level gauge. The transmitter consists of a sensor and a converter. As the magnetic float moves up and down, it magnetically couples with the measuring elements inside the guide tube, causing them to actuate sequentially and produce changes in resistance signals. These signals are converted into standard current signals of 0–10mA or 4–20mA for output, enabling connection with digital display instruments or computers to achieve remote display and control.
