Marine Solenoid Valve

Marine solenoid valves are used on sea vessels, warships, offshore drilling platforms, oil tankers, and other marine applications to control media such as seawater and domestic water. Since seawater is a complex electrolyte solution containing a certain amount of dissolved oxygen, the principles of electrochemical corrosion apply to seawater corrosion. Most metal materials undergo depolarization corrosion in seawater, meaning oxygen acts as a depolarizing agent. Therefore, marine solenoid valves must be able to withstand seawater corrosion.

Working Principle:
Normally Closed: When the solenoid valve is not energized, it remains closed. When energized, it opens.
Normally Open: When the solenoid valve is not energized, it remains open. When energized, it closes.
