2. Function: Stainless steel metal hoses serve as compensators in connections between pipes and pipes, pipes and equipment, and equipment and equipment. Their flexibility compensates for positional deviations in the piping system caused by installation and accommodates the relative displacement required for the abnormal operation of the two endpoints. They also function to reduce vibration and eliminate noise.

6. Introduction to three types of metal hoses:

The elastic characteristics of the bellows profile endow the hose with excellent flexibility and fatigue resistance, making it easy to absorb various cyclic loads of motion deformation, especially compensating for large displacements in piping systems.

Pump-connected stainless steel metal hose

Installing a section of pump-connected hose at the inlet and outlet of a pump can reduce and absorb vibration and noise in the piping system, while also compensating for certain displacements, ensuring the system operates normally, purifying the working environment, and eliminating common issues such as aging and poor temperature resistance associated with previously used rubber hose connections.

II. Installation Precautions

1. When selecting a metal hose, choose one with a loose flange on one end for easier installation.

2. During welding operations on the construction site, protect the surface of the metal hose to prevent welding spatter and arcing from damaging the metal hose.

3. Do not install the metal hose in a twisted manner.

4. Avoid bending at the root of the metal hose and avoid sharp bends.

5. The medium conveyed must not be corrosive to the bellows material, and the chloride ion content in the medium should be ≤25 PPM.

6. Strictly follow the correct installation method as shown in the diagram. (Refer to the installation guide)

7. Do not mechanically damage the flange sealing surface.

8. Do not use chlorine-containing cleaners or wire brushes to remove dirt from the metal hose.
