Main Applications

Footwear Materials

Footwear materials are one of the primary application areas for EVA resin. In the application of DuPont 250, the vinyl acetate content typically ranges from 15% to 22%. Due to the softness, excellent elasticity, and chemical resistance of EVA resin blended foam products, they are widely used in mid-to-high-end sports shoes, hiking boots, slippers, and sandals for soles and interior materials. Additionally, this material is also used in soundproof panels, gym mats, and sealing materials.

Films

The main use of EVA films is in the production of functional greenhouse films. Functional greenhouse films exhibit high weather resistance, anti-fogging, and thermal insulation properties. Greenhouse films made with a certain amount of EVA resin not only have high light transmittance but also significantly improved anti-fogging performance, generally lasting over four months. Furthermore, EVA can be used to produce packaging films, medical films, laminated films, casting films, and more.

Wires and Cables

With the continuous development of computer and network engineering, and out of concern for data center safety, halogen-free flame-retardant cables and silane cross-linked cables are increasingly being used. DuPont 250, due to its excellent performance, is also applied in this field.
