Application Areas

1. Foamed Footwear Materials: Footwear is the primary application area for EVA resin in China. In footwear materials, the vinyl acetate content typically ranges from 15% to 22%. Due to its excellent elasticity and chemical resistance, EVA resin blended foamed products are widely used in the soles and interior materials of sports shoes, hiking boots, slippers, and sandals. Additionally, this material is also used in soundproof panels, gym mats, and sealing materials.

3. Functional Greenhouse Films: EVA films can be used to produce functional greenhouse films, which offer high weather resistance, anti-drip properties, and thermal insulation. Compared to polyethylene greenhouse films with a certain amount of anti-drip agents, EVA films maintain their anti-drip performance for a longer period, generally exceeding four months, and have higher light transmittance.
4. Other Films: They can also be used to produce packaging films, medical films, laminated films, cast films, etc. Additionally, they are suitable as intermediate layers for polyolefin laminated films.
5. Wire and Cable: Due to safety concerns in data centers, the use of halogen-free flame-retardant cables and silane cross-linked cables is increasing. EVA resin, with its excellent filler compatibility and cross-linking properties, is widely used in halogen-free flame-retardant cables and two-step silane cross-linked cables. It is also used in the sheathing of some special cables. The vinyl acetate content in EVA resin for wire and cable applications typically ranges from 12% to 24%.
6. Toy Industry: EVA resin is widely used in toys, such as children's bicycle wheels and seat cushions.
7. Hot Melt Adhesives: Hot melt adhesives primarily composed of EVA resin are solvent-free, non-polluting, and highly safe, making them ideal for automated production lines. They are widely used in book binding, furniture edge banding, automotive and household appliance assembly, footwear manufacturing, carpet coating, and metal anti-corrosion coatings.

9. General Products: With flexibility, resistance to environmental stress cracking, and excellent weather resistance, EVA is suitable for industrial materials such as power wire insulation, household appliance components, and window sealing materials.

11. Automotive Parts: Such as shock absorbers, fenders, and interior and exterior decorative accessories.
12. Foamed Products: Pressure foaming produces foam plastic slippers, sandals, and building materials; injection foaming produces various industrial parts and women's shoe soles.
