Particle Separation Cube

The particle separator is a unique hydrodynamic separator that utilizes a trash retention device, V-settling technology, and baffle plates to capture and easily remove debris and trash in waterways. The particle separator can be used as a standalone device or as a pretreatment stage, effectively removing floatables, hydrocarbons, heavy metals, and sediments.

Stormwater enters the particle separator through the inlet pipe and is discharged through the outlet pipe placed at nearly the same height. Upon entering the system, floatables such as hydrocarbons and other buoyant solids are captured on the inlet side of the insert. The stormwater is then conveyed through the insert, first passing through perforated baffle plates, then entering the V-plate settling zone, where sedimentation removal occurs. The stormwater then passes through a perforated weir before being discharged via the outlet pipe.
