ZX-610 Stainless Steel Pickling Passivation Solution

I: Stainless steel pickling passivation solution is suitable for: 300 series stainless steel (301, 302, 303, 304, 316, 316L, 400, 410, 416 series, etc.) surface pickling and passivation treatment.

II: Stainless steel pickling passivation solution product is suitable for: petrochemicals, marine pipelines, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, food, Class I-III pressure vessels, and other related stainless steel components. It removes brown oxides (rust) generated after high-temperature processing such as welding, hammering, and impact damage, making them shiny and bright. At the same time, it forms an oxide film to achieve passivation, combining the dual effects of pickling and passivation into one step.

III: Physical characteristics of stainless steel pickling passivation solution: no fumes, low odor, operable both indoors and outdoors. Brushing, spraying, and soaking are all applicable, with soaking providing the best results. The operation process is simple, construction is convenient, saving time and effort. The treated stainless steel surface is smooth and clean, with strong stability, significantly improved corrosion resistance, extended equipment service life, and increased product added value.

IV: Usage method of stainless steel pickling passivation solution: Small stainless steel parts can be soaked in a container using the original solution. The recommended soaking time is 10~20 minutes in summer and 30-50 minutes in winter. Users can adjust the time based on the desired color effect.
Each kilogram of passivation solution can treat a surface area of 60~70 square meters without loss of chemical composition. (If the oxide layer is thick or there is more dirt, the time can be appropriately extended.) Rinse thoroughly with clean water. For larger equipment, to ensure both cleaning passivation quality and save passivation material, a pump can be used for cyclic spraying. (Note: The final rinse with clean water must be thorough and complete to ensure no residual pickling passivation solution remains.) The treated stainless steel equipment surface will be as clean as new, restoring the original appearance of stainless steel.

V: Precautions for stainless steel pickling passivation solution:
1. Cleaning tank: The work tank should be made of acid-resistant plastic, fiberglass, or low-carbon steel with a PVC plastic liner.
2. Tank solution addition and maintenance: Regularly clean debris and residue in the tank (to prevent them from reducing the concentration of the tank solution). When the cleaning ability of the working solution decreases, add new solution to restore its effectiveness (pH should be controlled within 2; when pH exceeds 2, promptly add some new solution).
3. Remove sediment and floating matter from the waste liquid, then add new solution to adjust and continue use, or adjust the pH value, separate sediment, and discharge the waste liquid according to environmental standards.
4. During operation, wear protective equipment such as rubber gloves and goggles; avoid skin contact with the product. In case of accidental contact, rinse with water.
