Structure of the Tearing Tester

The tearing tester mainly consists of a pendulum system, paper clamping mechanism, paper cutting mechanism, and indicating device.

1. Pendulum System: Composed of a sector pendulum and main shaft system, it provides the power required to tear the sample through the potential energy–kinetic energy conversion of the pendulum during the tearing process.

2. Paper Clamping Mechanism: Consists of two sets of clamps installed on the base and the pendulum body, respectively, used to firmly hold the sample under specified conditions.

3. Paper Cutting Mechanism: Composed of a knife holder, blade, etc., used to pre-cut the sample to the specified dimensions.

Indicating Device: Consists of a pointer system and a force dial.
