Main Purpose: The metal wire torsion testing machine is suitable for determining the ability of metal wires with a diameter (or characteristic dimension) of 3-5.0mm to withstand plastic deformation during unidirectional or bidirectional torsion, as well as revealing surface and internal defects of the wire.

Principle: Unidirectional Torsion: The specimen rotates uniformly 360 degrees around its own axis in one direction as one torsion cycle, continuing until the specified number of cycles is reached or the specimen fractures. Bidirectional Torsion: The specimen rotates uniformly 360 degrees around its own axis in one direction as one torsion cycle until the specified number of cycles is reached, then rotates the same number of cycles in the opposite direction or until the specimen fractures.

Applicable Standards: The metal wire torsion testing machine complies with the standards GB/T239.1-2012 "Metallic Materials—Wire—Part 1: Method of Unidirectional Torsion Test" and GB/T239.2-2012 "Metallic Materials—Wire—Part 2: Method of Bidirectional Torsion Test." It also meets the international standards ISO7800:2003 "Metallic Materials—Wire—Unidirectional Torsion Test" and ISO9649:1990 "Metallic Materials—Wire—Bidirectional Torsion Test."

Control Unit: The control system utilizes imported Atmel microprocessors combined with mature control methods, ensuring control accuracy and operational stability. The display screen uses an industrial-grade LCD with features such as long lifespan, stable performance, and wide viewing angles. The counter employs a Hall sensor with strong anti-interference capability, high sensitivity, and good dynamic performance. The machine automatically detects wire fracture.
