Basic Application Scope: The Paper Dust Degree Tester is suitable for measuring the dust degree of paper or paperboard. It is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 1541-2013 "Method for Determination of Dust Degree of Paper and Paperboard." With a rational structure and convenient operation, it is widely used in universities, research institutions, quality inspection departments, and paper printing and packaging production sectors for testing paper-based materials. It is applicable for measuring the surface dust degree of various papers and paperboards.

Operation Method:

1. Sampling: Cut at least 4 samples of 250mm × 250mm.

2. Observation: Place one sample on the rotating worktable. Turn on the fluorescent lamp and inspect the sample surface for visible dust under the lamp. Maintain an observation distance of 250–300mm from the eye to the sample. Use different markers to circle dust particles of varying sizes; alternatively, record the number of dust particles by size category.

3. Comparison: Rotate the worktable by 90° each time. After each rotation, use the standard dust comparison chart to identify the size of dust areas on the sample. Alternatively, mark newly detected dust particles by size category until returning to the initial position.
