I. Introduction to the Testing Machine

This machine is primarily used for testing the torsional mechanical properties of metal materials, bolts, tools, finished products, structural components, transmission shafts, and other automotive parts at room temperature or under special environmental conditions. It can also be used for performance tests such as torsional failure of non-metallic materials and finished products. The test specimen is installed between adjustable fixtures, allowing adaptation to different specimens for torsional mechanical property testing.

Applicable Standards: GB/T 10128 "Metallic Materials—Torsion Testing Method at Room Temperature," JJG 269 "Verification Regulation for Torsion Testing Machines," etc.

II. Introduction to Host Structure and Electrical System

1. Host

The host adopts a horizontal structure. The adjustable end of the test space—the torque disk—is connected to the sensor as the torque acquisition end. The other end is loaded by a precision CNC servo motor, which drives the loading disk through a cycloidal reducer transmission. Torque is transmitted to the torque disk end via specimen loading for testing. The torque acquisition end can move along linear guides to adjust the test space, facilitating specimen clamping.

2. Transmission System

Utilizing a precision CNC servo motor and driver, uniform output is ensured through a cycloidal reducer, guaranteeing wide-range speed continuous adjustment and even loading during the test process.

3. Torque and Twist Angle Detection

A high-precision torque sensor is used, capable of measuring torque in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The twist angle output is collected by an angular displacement sensor, ensuring the authenticity and effectiveness of the displayed angle. Through the computer data acquisition and processing system, the collected sensor signals are processed and displayed on the computer screen.

4. Measurement and Control System:

The testing machine is computer-controlled, with software synchronously displaying curves such as torque-time, twist angle-time, torque-twist angle, and torque-rotation angle of the test specimen. Parameters such as angle, torque, and peak torque are displayed in real-time.

5. Test Process

The entire test process uses Windows-based, graphical interface window operation software. Test parameters are entered via the keyboard, and virtual buttons are operated with the mouse to automatically complete the entire test process.

Test results can be formatted into various report styles for easy printing and analysis.
