Principle of Metal Detectors:

Uses coils with alternating current to generate a rapidly changing magnetic field. This magnetic field can induce eddy currents inside metal objects. The eddy currents, in turn, produce a magnetic field that affects the original magnetic field, triggering the detector to emit an alarm. The accuracy and reliability of metal detectors depend on the stability of the electromagnetic frequency, typically operating within a range of 80 to 800 kHz. Lower operating frequencies provide better detection performance for iron, while higher frequencies offer better detection for high-carbon steel. The detector's sensitivity decreases as the detection range increases, and the strength of the induced signal depends on the size and conductivity of the metal particles.
