Covestro 6557 is a halogen-free flame retardant polycarbonate (PC) material with high transparency, strong toughness, medium viscosity, and high-temperature resistance. It can be used in the following fields:

• Automotive Industry: Suitable for automotive lighting systems, dashboards, door frames, lever covers, spoilers, as well as front and rear bumpers, mirror frames, etc.
• Electronics and Electrical Industry: Can be used for junction boxes, sockets, plugs and sleeves, gaskets, TV converter devices, telephone line brackets, switch boxes, telephone exchanges, distribution panel components, relay housings, etc.
• Construction Industry: Applicable for making door and window glass, PC laminated panels for protective windows in banks, embassies, detention centers, and public places, as well as aircraft canopies, lighting equipment, industrial safety barriers, and bulletproof glass.
