Nylon resin (polyamide resin) AMILAN™ is a thermoplastic engineering plastic containing amide groups (-CONH-) with excellent strength, toughness, heat resistance, and friction/wear resistance.

The Toray series includes nylon 6, nylon 66, nylon 610, and a wide range of copolymer nylon formulations. Additionally, various grades of resin are provided to meet diverse customer needs and applications, including non-reinforced, reinforced, flame-retardant, friction/wear-resistant, high-impact, film-grade, monofilament-grade, and blow molding grades.

Excellent toughness under standard humidity conditions.

Outstanding chemical and oil resistance.

Superior friction and wear resistance.

Almost all grades meet the UL standard 94VO for self-extinguishing and flame retardancy.

Excellent long-term heat resistance (maximum continuous use temperature: approximately 80-150°C).

Glass fiber-reinforced grades exhibit particularly outstanding modulus of elasticity and strength.

Low gasoline permeability and excellent gas barrier properties.

In recent years, the glow wire test has been widely adopted as a standard for evaluating the flame retardancy of materials. Materials that meet the high-temperature glow wire test standards offer advantages in end-product certification, such as expanding application scope and exempting product testing. We will introduce nylon resins that combine excellent glow wire characteristics, flame retardancy, tracking resistance, and toughness.

Nylon resin grades manufactured using NANOALLOY™ technology for ultra-high impact resistance. They provide toughness against high-speed impacts, enhanced impact absorption, and elasticity, resulting in superior long-term durability and safety.
