Transparent TPU

TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomer) is a high-performance polymer material.
From a molecular structure perspective, it consists of soft segments and hard segments. Soft segments, such as polyester or polyether polyols, provide the material with excellent elasticity and flexibility; hard segments are formed by the reaction of diisocyanates and chain extenders, imparting rigidity and strength to the material. Its excellent elastic recovery rate is also noteworthy—in elastic components of fitness equipment, no matter how many times it is stretched, it quickly returns to its original shape, ensuring the normal use of the equipment.
TPU's chemical resistance makes it highly valuable in the chemical industry. It can resist the erosion of various chemical substances, such as in chemical reagent transport pipelines, where it prevents pipeline corrosion and ensures the safety of chemical transportation. Moreover, TPU has good processability and can be easily molded into products of various shapes through injection molding, extrusion, and other techniques.
In daily life, TPU is widely used.
