Product Introduction
The laboratory basket grinding mill is suitable for wet grinding of medium to low viscosity fluids and is a batch production laboratory equipment. The material is reduced in particle size through the powerful kinetic energy generated in all directions by the irregular collisions between grinding media. It integrates dispersion and grinding, reducing the process steps. With one machine and one container, it can complete dispersion and grinding, improving production efficiency and reducing material waste. This equipment offers excellent grinding results, stable performance, easy cleaning, and convenient material changeover. It is widely used in factories, research institutions, universities, and other wet grinding experiments, as well as small-batch production in industries with high fineness requirements such as pigments, dyes, inks, printing inks, coatings, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and color pastes.


Working Principle

The motor operation drives the stirring rod and the bottom dispersion disc to rotate at high speed, creating a vacuum above the dispersion disc and inside the basket chamber. The slurry is sucked into the basket grinding chamber. The stirring rod drives the grinding media in the chamber to generate forces in all directions. The particles in the material are continuously collided and rubbed by the media, reducing the particle size and narrowing the particle size range. The high-speed operation of the dispersion disc creates a vortex that draws the material out of the chamber and recirculates it to the feed, providing significant dispersion and mixing effects.
