GMG-200 Coefficient of Friction Tester Principle and Method

The main body containing the glider is selected to apply a certain pressure on the floor effect. The slider is made of a defined material and has a specific shape. The body is pulled parallel to the floor covering material at a constant speed on the surface. The force required to pull the body is determined by the length of the measurement path. To determine the coefficient of sliding friction, this force is divided by the vertical force acting.

GMG-200 Application Scope: Complies with DIN51131 and EN13893, used to measure the sliding friction coefficient of floors.

Product Introduction: The design of the GMG-200 sliding test instrument is based on the integration of measurement mechanics in the sliding body and measurement electronics, using only one system component to achieve an easy-to-handle measurement system. The instrument is equipped with two interchangeable sliders specified for sliding materials. The sliders are coded according to their material and automatically recognized by the instrument.
