JBD-2 Rainfall Recording Alarm

I. Product Overview
This product is used in conjunction with tipping bucket rain gauges and is compatible with various models to achieve rainfall detection, storage, display, and alarm functions. The alarm employs dual power supply: external power (the product accessory includes an AC/DC converter 9~12V) and internal 4.5V dry batteries, with automatic switching between the two. The product is designed for wall-mounted installation. It features an LCD display (supports two lines, each displaying 8 Chinese characters or 16 digits/letters), showing real-time clock, current hour rainfall, today's rainfall, and alarm thresholds for different levels and periods. The alarm function uses three periods and three levels of audible and visual alarms (4 indicator lights and one buzzer). Alarm thresholds and time can be set via PC communication or a "password lock." Alarm values are retained during power loss.
II. Alarm Function
Alarms are divided into rainfall alarm and low voltage alarm. Alarms are implemented through three rainfall alarm indicator lights, one voltage alarm indicator light, and a buzzer. When voltage is normal, both indicator lights and buzzer activate simultaneously for an alarm signal. When voltage is low, only the indicator lights are used for alarm. Currently, alarm values are set and verified by the company's technical department before leaving the factory. They can be expanded to customer-modifiable mode based on customer needs.
1. Rainfall Alarm
Alarm periods are divided into 1 hour, 3 hours, and 12 hours, totaling three periods;
1-hour rainfall is the sum of the cumulative 60 minutes of rainfall counting backward from the current minute;
3-hour rainfall is the sum of the cumulative 180 minutes of rainfall counting backward from the current minute;
12-hour rainfall is the sum of the cumulative 720 minutes of rainfall counting backward from the current minute.
Alarms are not differentiated by period;
Each period is divided into Level 1 (high), Level 2, and Level 3 (low) alarms based on rainfall intensity. Higher-level alarm values are less than or equal to adjacent lower-level alarm values;
Alarms of different levels are distinguished by the number of flashing indicator lights for rainfall alarms. For Level 1 alarm, all three indicator lights flash simultaneously; for Level 2 alarm, two indicator lights flash simultaneously; for Level 3 alarm, one indicator light flashes;
When any level of alarm occurs in any period, the buzzer sounds;
Press and hold the "SET key" to turn off the buzzer. When another alarm signal arrives, the buzzer is triggered again.
2. Low Voltage Alarm
There is a low voltage alarm indicator light on the alarm, which alerts to possible low voltage when using dry batteries.
When there is no rainfall alarm or low voltage alarm, the normal indicator light flashes, indicating normal operation.
III. Menu Display and Time Adjustment
Dual-row LCD with Chinese character display. Upon power-on, it displays "Xuzhou Weisi Water Technology-----Rainfall Alarm v1.0".
Short press the "SET key" to display time:

When displaying time: Press the ∧ key or ∨ key to cycle through the following menus.

Among these, current hour rainfall is the accumulation from the top of the hour to the next top of the hour, resetting at the next top of the hour.
Today's rainfall is the accumulation starting from 8:00 AM, resetting at 8:00 AM the next day.
The above two data are updated in real-time per second.
1-hour rainfall is the cumulative rainfall from the current minute counting backward 60 minutes.
3-hour rainfall is the cumulative rainfall from the current minute counting backward 180 minutes.
12-hour rainfall is the cumulative rainfall from the current minute counting backward 720 minutes.
The above three data are refreshed in real-time per minute.
When displaying time, simultaneously press the ∧ key and ∨ key to enter the time display menu:
"XXXX年XX月XX日------XX：XX：XX"
(The main differences between the time display and time adjustment menu are two: time adjustment has reverse display, time display does not; the format of hours, minutes, and seconds differs between time display and time adjustment.)
Press the ＞ key to cycle through shifts. Press the ∧ key or ∨ key to adjust the target value, which is displayed in reverse. During time adjustment, both ∧ key and ∨ key support continuous press function. For example, holding down the ∧ key increases the target value at a certain speed, and the speed accelerates. Press the SET key to exit the time adjustment menu.
The time displayed after entering the time adjustment menu is the time at the moment of entering the menu and does not change automatically during the adjustment process. The internal clock runs normally. If only entering the time adjustment menu without making adjustments, the actual time is displayed upon exiting. For example: if entering the time adjustment menu at 2010年5月4日-----12:06:05, it will display "2010年5月4日-----12:06:05" throughout the adjustment process. If exiting the menu at 2010年5月4日-----12:07:23 without changing any digit in "2010年5月4日-----12:06:05", it displays 2010年5月4日-----12:07:23; if changed, it displays the changed value.
If no key action for 5 minutes, the LCD screen powers off and turns off. If a menu is being displayed, the menu returns to time display after the screen turns off. If adjusting time, exiting the time adjustment menu after the screen turns off returns to time display, and the time adjustment is effective.
Precautions

1. Batteries can only be replaced when external power is effective. Otherwise, the system will restart and require time reset.
