3M Fluorinert™ Liquid FC-3283 is a colorless, transparent perfluorochemical with excellent chemical inertness, electrical insulation properties, thermal conductivity, and low surface tension. It is used in semiconductor manufacturing plants as a heat transfer medium. Its liquid temperature range is from -50°C to 128°C, and it is primarily applied in etching equipment, ion implantation equipment, testing equipment, and other devices. Since FC-3283 is a single-component fluid, its composition is less prone to degradation or expiration. With a high boiling point, FC-3283 also exhibits minimal evaporation over time. With the advancement of technology and the increasing integration of electronic products, ensuring proper functionality makes cleaning processes critically important. In the past, the electronics industry commonly used CFCs, which are being phased out due to their ozone-depleting and greenhouse effects. Their替代品HCFCs, which still contain chlorine, can only serve as transitional cleaning solvents.
