Product Usage: The strength and durability of the bond depend on proper surface preparation. The bonding surfaces should at least be cleaned with a degreasing agent, such as isopropyl alcohol (for plastics), to remove all oil stains, dirt, and dust. Do not use low-grade alcohol, gasoline, or paint thinner. The highest strength and most durable bonds can be achieved by mechanically abrading or chemically etching the cleaned surfaces. Product Storage: Araldite 2012 can be stored for 3 years at room temperature in unopened containers. For specific expiration dates, refer to the label on the container.Huntsman Advanced Materials products are generally considered harmless when used with specified safety measures. Uncured materials should not come into contact with food or food utensils. Measures should also be taken to prevent uncured materials from contacting the skin, as some individuals with skin allergies may be affected. Generally, impermeable rubber or plastic gloves should be worn; protective glasses should also be worn. After each use, thoroughly wash the skin with soap and warm water. Avoid using solvents. Use paper towels to clean the skin; do not use towels. Ensure adequate ventilation in the workspace.
