Product Features

· Pretreatment: Substrate surfaces must be degreased, cleaned, and dried. Corona treatment can enhance bonding effectiveness.

· Application: Manual or pneumatic pressure applicator guns can be used.

· Curing: This product cures with heat at 150°C.

Suitable Applications

· Heat curing: Heat curing* improves production efficiency and reduces storage space required during curing wait times.

· Medium viscosity: Self-leveling, easy to handle.

· High bond strength: Good adhesion properties.

Usage

· Suitable for corrosion-sensitive electronic devices, such as: engine control units (ECUs), power modules, engine control modules, and other housing adhesions.

One-component, fast surface drying, refined product, suitable for electronic and electrical applications. Dow Corning SE 1714: One-component, light brown, heat-curing, flowable, with good strength and excellent adhesion. Density at 25°C = 1.3, volume resistivity = 5e+015 ohm-centimeters, shelf life = 270 days, shear strength = 750 psi, dynamic viscosity = 60,000 cP, flowable, elongation = 250%, tensile strength = 1030 psi, temperature range -45°C to 200°C, heat curing 30 minutes @ 150°C, hydrophobic, hardness - A = 65 Shore A, dielectric strength = 750 V/mil, dielectric constant (1MHz) = 3.1, water-resistant, self-leveling, color beige black 130g/tube 1kg bottle.
